MONTH
Purpose
- Provides the month (number) when given a specific date

Syntax
=MONTH(serial_number)
Arguments
- serial_number
- This is the date in question, formatted as a serial number (and you need the month of this date)
- This can be a hard-coded number, cell reference, or calculation
